The company is personally directed by Jerry O'Sullivan MIHI-AHCIMA, who has advanced within the industry in Ireland, UK and USA with distinction. Primarily experienced as Head Chef at the young age of 20 of a then 100 bedroom hotel, Jerry progressed also to Duty and Assistant Hotel Management and in Catering Management. Jerry has managed Catering Operations for Blue Chip Multi National Clients operating on a 7 day 24 hour basis.

As an entrepreneur in setting up Caterassist, Jerry has worked in difficult and demanding situations that today his expertise to clients is invaluable. His Team would describe him as Firm but Fair. He personally overseas all offices on a daily basis; he is the Big Brother of Caterassist.

In July of 2008 The Caterassist Group acquired the Cherry Business in Limerick & Dublin. Cherry – founded by Kay Caball was formerly Managing Director of The Restaurant Association of Ireland (RAI) Placement Services – the recruitment arm of the Restaurants Association of Ireland and established Cherry Placement Services in 2006.

Caterassist under the sole Management and only shareholder of Jerry O’Sullivan will take over the Cherry Name and Business from 1st of August 2008.

Cherry will be operated under ‘The Caterassist Group’ that incorporates their Hospitality & Food Retail Recruitment Division, The Food Safety Division, and The Food Safety Academy which are all entities underneath this brand.

All our offices are managed by hands on Manager. We do not operate franchisees or governed by directors that can lead to confusion with different opinions.
