Our specialised Hospitality and Food Retail Division recruits candidates locally, nationally and internationally. We operate the most comprehensive database of recruiting and networking.

We recruit from a Kitchen Porter to a General Manager and from a Checkout Assistant to Department Heads such as Bakers, Butchers, Deli Managers, Food Safety Officers and Quality Managers in the Retail and Food Processing Industry.


Our Team

Our Recruitment Consultants are highly skilled and undergo specialised training in areas of Human Resources, Training Analysis, Sales, Customer Care and Interview Skills to provide both candidates and clients the optimum of service throughout the recruitment process.

Sourcing Candidates

We pride ourselves on placing candidates in the right job fit. We do not, like other recruitment companies, aim for turnover but want to form lasting relationships and bonds with both our candidates and clients. In order to ensure that we are able to recruit the right candidates for our clients, Caterassist invests heavily in both time and money in researching the best wasy to source the right candidates. We have the ability to source candidates in all teh categories from Junior to Senior Management roles. Caterassist's active candidate database currently stands at over 100,000 candidates. This is continuously being updated using methods such as advertising, recommendations, web recruitment and recruitment campaign alliances with various colleges and institutions.

Candidate Screening & Interviewing

When possible all candidates are interviewed for the specific position, either face to face, by telephone or webcam broadcast. All candidates forwarded via any of our selection methods go through a screening process with a trained Recruitment Consultant. All candidates are contacted for their permission to send their CV to a job vacancy. We do not under any circumstances send candidates details without their prior permission. We respect our candidates' confidentiality as indeed with our clients'.It is standard procedure to verify the candidate's CV by checking two former employers.
A comprehensive assessment on the skills and behaviour of the candidate are assessed and recorded.

Physcometric Testing

We can provide both aptitude and behavioural/personality phsycometric testing. Please contact out Head Office regarding this specialised service.
